The VIS Racing DTM Style Carbon Fiber Hood is a premium exterior upgrade for the 2-door Audi TT models manufactured between 2007 and 2014. Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood boasts a tight weave, ensuring both strength and a lightweight design. The two-part construction process involves bonding the carbon fiber top layer with high-grade epoxy resin and finishing it with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a lasting high-gloss appearance. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer, enhancing the product's structural integrity, while the hand-smoothed edges ensure a quality finish all around. VIS Racing has also implemented their Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for parts produced using a single-mold vacuum, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter and more durable. Installation of this DTM style hood requires hood pins for secure mounting. It is important to note that this product is intended for off-road use only. The manufacturer specifies that this hood is compatible with Audi TT models from 2007 to 2014. As always, it is recommended to confirm fitment with your specific vehicle before purchase.
