The PRL Motorsports Carbon Fiber Inlet Pipe Kit is a bolt-on modification designed for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type-R (FK8). It removes airflow restrictions at the turbocharger inlet to improve efficiency, throttle response, and turbo spool.

This system features an 80mm OD carbon fiber crossover pipe and a cast aluminum transition inlet, offering over 50% more airflow volume than the stock component.

Engineered to maximize the performance of your FK8, the PRL Motorsports Carbon Fiber Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade. This kit removes critical airflow restrictions at the turbocharger inlet, leading to significant improvements in overall engine efficiency, throttle responsiveness, and faster turbo spool. Featuring an 80mm OD carbon fiber crossover pipe and a precisely machined cast aluminum transition inlet, this system is the largest available for the FK8 platform. It provides over 50% more airflow volume compared to the stock inlet pipe, reducing restriction at the compressor inlet for enhanced turbocharger performance across the entire RPM range, including increased low-end power. The construction utilizes a cast 6061 aluminum inlet flange, thin-wall carbon fiber tubing (80mm OD / 78mm ID), high-temperature 4-ply silicone couplers, and 304 stainless steel worm clamps. This kit is designed to pair exclusively with the PRL High Volume Intake System and is compatible with all factory-fitment FK8 turbochargers. No ECU calibration is required for installation. Fitment is specific to the 2017–2021 Honda Civic Type-R (FK8), including all RHD and international models. It is crucial to note that this inlet pipe kit **ONLY** pairs with the PRL High Volume Intake System and **DOES NOT** fit the stock airbox.
