The APR Open CI100033 Carbon Fiber Intake System is a high-performance upgrade engineered for 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engines found in various MQB platform vehicles. The system features a durable carbon fiber construction and a direct fit design for straightforward installation. The carbon fiber tubing not only contributes to performance but also adds an attractive aesthetic to the engine bay. This intake is intended as a performance replacement, aiming to enhance the engine's breathing capabilities. It is important to note specific fitment exclusions and requirements. This intake excludes 2.0T Gen 3 B-Cycle engines equipped with a MAF sensor on the intake pipe. For the TT and TTS models, an inlet adapter (CI100033-C) is required. Additionally, to fit this system to 2.0T EA888.3b engines with a MAF sensor on the intake tube, the MAF adapter (CI100051) must be used.
