The Integrated Engineering carbon fiber intake system is a high-performance upgrade engineered for the Audi B9 S4 and S5 models equipped with the 3.0T turbocharged engine (2017-2024 B9/B9.5). It features a unique, professional motorsport-style velocity stack that channels airflow from the large internal airbox volume directly into the turbocharger with minimal drag and turbulence. This intake system optimizes airflow by leveraging dual pressure zones. A large front air inlet acts as a ram-air design, drawing in high-pressure outside air, while additional air is supplied through louvers on the bottom plate from a low-pressure zone. This ensures a continuous air supply capable of supporting any power level and preventing the intake from becoming a performance bottleneck. The design also enhances the natural sound of the 3.0T engine, including turbocharger spool and diverter valve sounds, creating a distinct and refined auditory experience. This translates to potential power gains of up to 19HP and 21 ft-lbs of torque on tuned engines. The intake installation is estimated at 1 hour or less, while the optional turbo inlet pipe installation is estimated at 1-2 hours. The intake system is specifically designed for the 2017-2024 Audi S4 and S5 3.0T models.
