The Integrated Engineering Carbon Fiber Intake System is engineered to elevate the performance, sound, and aesthetics of the Audi C7/C7.5 S6 and S7 models equipped with the 4.0T V8 engine. This system replaces the restrictive stock airbox with a high-gloss carbon fiber construction that is both visually appealing and functional. Extensive engineering methods, including 3D scanning, rapid prototyping, flow bench validation, and dyno testing, were employed to develop this performance-focused design. The intake system features a large internal volume, a massive air filter, and multiple air sources to maximize airflow. A key component is the flow-optimized velocity stack, which provides a low-turbulence transition from the filter to the inlet pipes, as confirmed by in-house Superflow bench testing. This results in significant gains in airflow, with tested increases of up to 23.5% at -5 in/H20.
