Carbon Fiber Intake System with Air Duct

The Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System with Air Duct is engineered to enhance performance for 2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 vehicles, specifically the MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3. This system aims to maximize performance, increase air velocity, and improve throttle response by reducing airflow restrictions. It features an all-new silicone intake hose and aluminum coupler for a secure connection to the factory DV port, ensuring precise fitment and an enhanced turbocharger and diverter valve sound. It utilizes EPDM rubber mounting grommets and OEM mounting locations for direct bolt-on installation. The system includes a proprietary 3-inch dry cotton filter designed for maximum airflow and a smooth flow transition, along with dual air inlets to further increase airflow capacity over the stock configuration. An airbox water drainage provision is also included. The kit includes the carbon fiber airbox, air duct, a 3-inch powdercoated aluminum inner intake tube, a multi-ply turbo inlet tube, an aluminum DV port coupler, and a hardware kit, along with the proprietary dry filter.
