Carbon Fiber Intake System with Turbo Inlet

The Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System with Turbo Inlet is engineered to boost airflow and turbo efficiency for the MK8 GTI's 2.0TSI EVO4 engine. This comprehensive assembly combines a Cold Air Intake System with a High Flow Turbo Inlet, aiming to increase air velocity and throttle response while reducing intake air temperatures and turbo lag. The open element design also enhances the audible acoustics of the turbocharger and diverter valve. Constructed with a 2/2 twill prepreg carbon fiber weave, the airbox offers a lightweight, durable, and resistant solution. It features an oversized air inlet for increased airflow, especially when paired with Unitronic's Carbon Fiber Air Duct. The carbon fiber components are cured in an autoclave and finished with a UV and heat-resistant clear coat. The system utilizes all OEM mounting locations and includes a proprietary 3-inch dry cotton filter engineered for maximum airflow and debris protection. This intake system is recommended for use with Unitronic's Stage 1, 1+, 2, or 3 software tuning. Hardware included consists of the Carbon Fiber Air Box, a 3-inch Powdercoated Aluminum Inner Intake Tube, Billet Aluminum Turbo Inlet, Multi-Ply Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose, Hardware Kit, and the Proprietary 3-inch Dry-Filter (Cotton).
