The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber OEM Hood is engineered for the Nissan 350Z models from 2003 to 2006. This hood is constructed using a two-part design, featuring a top layer of grade-A carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high-gloss appearance. The underside is a one-piece, smooth shell fused to the top layer for enhanced structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. Utilizing a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), this hood is designed to be 10-20% lighter than previous manufacturing methods, contributing to improved durability and better handling. The reduction in front-end weight enhances steering response and agility, providing a more engaging driving experience for both street cruising and track use. Installation requires the use of hood pins for secure fitment, and the product is intended for off-road use unless local laws state otherwise. The UV-protected high gloss finish and tight carbon weave design provide a striking aesthetic upgrade for the Nissan 350Z.
