The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber OEM Style Hood is engineered to upgrade the 2012-2014 Mercedes C-Class 4DR, enhancing both its performance and aesthetic appeal. Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes an innovative two-part design. The top layer, made from carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin, is finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a brilliant, high-gloss appearance. A smooth, one-piece underside shell is fused to the top layer, contributing to the product's overall structural integrity and rigidity. Employing the advanced Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), this hood is manufactured to be 10-20% lighter than previous models, while simultaneously improving its durability. This lightweight construction contributes to a lower center of gravity, which can enhance the vehicle's handling and responsiveness. For safety and stability, especially given its design for off-road use, hood pin requirements are noted. This carbon fiber hood is specifically designed for the Mercedes C-Class 4DR models from 2012 to 2014, including the C63 variant.
