The Gunther Werks POV4070 is a carbon fiber rear wing engineered to enhance the aerodynamic performance and aesthetic of the Porsche 992 Turbo S. Its design focuses on optimizing rear-end stability at high speeds and improving aerodynamic efficiency by balancing downforce across the chassis. This wing is constructed using a cutting-edge aerospace autoclave process, similar to that used in Gunther Werks' own vehicles. It features resin pre-impregnated, vacuum-formed carbon fiber, which results in a 20%–30% increase in stiffness and strength compared to traditional methods. The manufacturing process draws out excess resin to ensure a lightweight component without compromising structural integrity, leading to precise fitment and seamless integration with factory shut lines. Crafted from a combination of unidirectional and 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, the GW9 design reflects a commitment to quality, innovation, and performance heritage.
