The Anderson Composites 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Type-ZR1/Z06 Roof is a direct replacement for your vehicle's original roof, designed to enhance both aesthetics and performance. Manufactured using Anderson Composites' VIP carbon fiber process, this roof undergoes a meticulous procedure. It begins with a resin spray onto the mold, followed by the careful placement of carbon fiber fabric layers. A final resin coat is applied before the part is vacuum-sealed and cured. This method guarantees an optimal fabric-to-resin ratio for superior strength and lightness. After curing, the roof is precisely trimmed and finished with a high-gloss gel coat, providing excellent surface protection and eliminating the need for any additional clear coat. This carbon fiber roof replaces the OE roof and mounts using the original hardware. Its construction not only offers a sleek, high-luster finish but also contributes to lowering weight high up on the vehicle, potentially improving handling characteristics.
