The shifter features a short rod length for quicker throws and is compatible with various shift knob options, including Delrin and aluminum, with or without emblem recesses for BMW shift pattern emblems. The design aims for a tight shifter feel while remaining compatible with OEM engine and transmission bushings. It is important to note that this shifter is not compatible with E46 330i/ci, E46 iX, or E30 iX AWD models due to space constraints between the transfer case and the shifter assembly.
