VIS Racing also utilizes the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for lighter and more durable parts.

The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Trunk offers an OEM-style upgrade for Dodge Challenger 2DR models spanning the 2008 through 2022 model years. This trunk is meticulously crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, bonded with high-grade epoxy resin. It is then finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating (Poly Shield) to ensure a lasting high gloss. The construction utilizes a two-part design with a one-piece, smooth underside shell fused to the carbon fiber top layer, significantly enhancing structural integrity. Hand-smoothed edges contribute to a refined finish. Furthermore, VIS Racing has implemented the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) on many of its carbon fiber parts, including this trunk, resulting in components that are 10-20% lighter while simultaneously improving durability. Each trunk comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of this product, hood pins are required. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws permit otherwise. Professional installation is recommended. Shipping for this item will be via LTL Freight Service, with pickup typically scheduled within 5-7 business days. It is crucial to inspect the package for any damage before signing for delivery, as claims cannot be processed after acceptance.
