Manufactured from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this trunk lid utilizes a two-part construction design. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing the product's structural integrity and durability. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process by introducing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This advanced method utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous iterations while simultaneously improving their durability. Each VIS Carbon Fiber Trunk comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. This trunk lid is specifically designed for the 08-15 Infiniti G37/Q60 Coupe. Due to the nature of performance parts and potential variations in emissions regulations, it is important to note that some VIS Racing products may not be CARB legal. Customers should verify local and state laws regarding the use of such components before purchase. Additionally, for safety reasons related to the intended use of these products, hood pins are required.
