The Genuine BMW M Performance GTS/CS hood is a direct replacement for select BMW M3 and M4 models. This vented carbon fiber hood, originating from the GTS and CS variants, offers a significant weight reduction compared to the stock hood while also improving engine bay cooling through its integrated front vent. The hood is supplied primered, allowing for custom paint matching to your vehicle's specifications. This hood is constructed from carbon fiber, a lightweight and strong material known for its performance applications. It features a vented design that contributes to better airflow and heat dissipation, potentially enhancing performance. The underside is unpainted carbon fiber, showcasing the material's construction. Installation typically requires specific gas struts (sold separately) and a front hood grate to complete the aesthetic and functional integration. This component is specifically designed for the BMW F80 M3, F82 M4, and F83 M4 models equipped with the S55 3.0L engine. Always use the vehicle selector to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle.
