The Forge Motorsport Carbon Fibre Intake Kit is engineered to significantly improve airflow to VAG 2.0 TSI EA888 engines, a critical upgrade for drivers aiming for performance tuning stages 1, 2, and higher. This induction kit is meticulously crafted from prepreg 2x2 twill carbon fibre, formed in an autoclave from billet tooling and finished with an anti-UV gloss gel coat, contributing to both performance and engine bay aesthetics. Development of this kit involved extensive 3D scanning, FEA simulation in SolidWorks CAD, and numerous dyno sessions to optimize power delivery. Testing revealed average gains of 5.5 BHP with the stock turbo inlet. When paired with the Forge Turbo Inlet Adaptor (FMTIA5/9), gains can reach up to 16 BHP at 6500 RPM, with an average increase of 10 BHP from 4500 RPM to the rev limit, and an average torque increase of 20 NM from 4000 RPM to the rev limit, even without ECU tuning. This induction kit is part of Forge Motorsport's acclaimed Hi-Flow range, ensuring critical cold air supply. The kit includes everything needed for installation, which typically takes around 1 hour, complete with full-colour instructions. Forge Motorsport offers a lifetime warranty on all hardware products, though the air filter itself is excluded from this warranty.
