The Verus Engineering Carbon Hood Louver Kit is specifically engineered for the Mk5 Toyota Supra, aiming to reduce engine bay heat and pressure. This louver design enhances cooling stack efficiency and can extend the lifespan of underhood components. By alleviating air pressure within the engine bay, it also contributes to an increase in front-end downforce. Developed using scan data, the hood louver features an OEM-type fit and finish that contours to the hood. Verus Engineering carefully placed the louver to minimize the removal of underhood structure while maximizing evacuation in a low-pressure area. CFD analysis and on-track data confirm the effectiveness of these louvers in dramatically reducing underhood temperatures. Included in the kit are the Carbon Hood Louver, a Cut Template, a Small White Verus Vinyl Sticker, and 3M VHB Double-Sided Tape. The design prioritizes retaining the OEM hood's structural integrity while offering a simplistic installation process.
