Carbon pTR Intake Manifold for LS3/LS7

The Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold is engineered to deliver flexible and powerful performance for LS3 and LS7 engine builds. Its construction utilizes a PA6GF30 glass-filled nylon lower manifold for reduced weight and heat soak, combined with a high-strength carbon fiber plenum featuring a 5-layer carbon and foam core flange for improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the intake charge. This manifold is highly configurable, offering modular velocity stacks that allow for runner lengths of 6.5, 8.0, and 9.0 inches. This tunability enables optimization of the engine's power curve, with shorter runners favoring high RPM drag applications and longer runners enhancing mid-range torque. The intake also includes a 105mm forward-facing throttle body flange, two MAP sensor locations, two 1/4" NPT ports for accessories like PCV or purge solenoids, and one 1/2" NPT port for a brake booster or IAT sensor. Provisions are made for three different injector body lengths, and NOS bosses are included on both outboard and valley sides of each runner for a total of 16 bosses. Installation hardware, including stainless steel components, along with molded port, plenum, and throttle seals, are provided. The intake can also be reversed on the engine for installation flexibility. It offers a significant weight savings of approximately 10 lbs compared to traditional aluminum tunnel ram manifolds. It is important to note that this intake manifold does not fit underhood on late model vehicles and is best suited for resto-mod applications, off-road race trucks, race boats, and hot rods.
