The Verus Engineering Carbon Rear Diffuser is a functional aerodynamic device designed for the Porsche 987 Cayman.

It is constructed from 2x2 twill, autoclave-cured carbon fiber for the main planes and durable polyurethane for the strakes. The diffuser utilizes CNC laser and bent 5052 aluminum brackets and includes stainless hardware. Installation requires no drilling or fabrication as it bolts to existing chassis locations.

The Verus Engineering Carbon Rear Diffuser is engineered to enhance the aerodynamic performance of the Porsche 987.1 and 987.2 Cayman models. This diffuser is meticulously crafted using state-of-the-art research and development processes. The main diffuser planes are made from 2x2 twill, autoclave-cured carbon fiber, offering a balance of strength and low weight at 1.5mm thickness. For longevity, the strakes are manufactured from durable polyurethane. Utilizing advanced scan data, CAD, and ANSYS Fluent analysis software, Verus Engineering has designed this diffuser to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, complementing the factory bumper lines. The assembly blends carbon fiber, sheet metal, and hard rubber components. The entire unit mounts to chassis locations via multiple sheet metal brackets, with absolutely no drilling or fabrication required for installation. Key features include improved vehicle performance through increased downforce and reduced drag. The design has been analyzed to optimize performance within the build volume. It also features a durable and replaceable strake design for extended longevity and offers a modular design allowing for the addition of a Flat Underbody Cover for further performance gains. Lightweight bonded carbon strengthening sections are integrated for a rigid main plane.
