The Synchrotech SYN109 Carbon Synchro Set is engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of manual transmissions in 1993-2001 Honda Prelude DOHC Vtec H22 models. This comprehensive kit is specifically designed for transmissions with case IDs M2Y4, M2U4, M2A4, M2F4, M2B4, and T2T4, ensuring a precise fit for these applications. Included in this rebuild kit are 1-5 Pro-Series carbon-lined synchros, corresponding synchro springs, a brass reverse synchro with spring, five shaft bearings, two axle seals, an input seal, a shift rod seal, and new dust seals. The use of carbon-lined synchros aims to provide smoother gear engagement and improved durability over traditional synchromesh materials.
