Carli Suspension offers a Premium CS-DTSB6-03 Front Torsion Sway Bar Kit for the Dodge Ram 2500 that is designed to greatly improve ride quality. The factory Sway Bar on a stock Ram is relatively immobile and often overlooked when trying to improve the factory ride. However, it plays a crucial role in locking the axle to the frame, causing vibrations and reverberation felt in the cab when encountering uneven terrain. Despite its immobility, the factory sway bar is designed to handle the truck's maximum legal weight and ensure safe hauling, especially for heavy loads like cab-over campers on remote mountain roads. For those who aren't constantly loaded to the maximum weight, the Carli Torsion Sway Bar offers an excellent solution to enhance the ride quality of the RAM HD Platform. Unlike simply removing the factory bar, which could lead to compromised control during hauling or emergency maneuvers, the Carli Torsion Sway Bar has been carefully developed and revised to strike the perfect balance. It allows a slight differentiation side to side before progressively engaging to provide the necessary control when leverage is applied. Constructed with durability in mind, the Carli Torsion Sway Bar features strong, doubled, and welded 3/8" cold-rolled steel arms, 3/4" thick at the clamp area. These arms are connected to the bar with in-house machined 17-4 stainless preload washers and Grade 8 pinch bolts. The custom rate torsion bar passes through fabricated brackets with extreme duty, service-free bushings, and the assembly includes Sway Bar End Links with top-notch FK Bearing 5/8" Heat-Treated, Chromoly Race Heims. Designed to work with 6" lift systems, this sway bar complements Carli's custom-tuned suspensions to elevate ride quality significantly. Unlike some other options, it doesn't have disconnects on the end links or multiple holes in the bar to alter leverage. The rate is thoughtfully set to strike the perfect balance between control and comfort, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable driving experience once installed.
