Overview

This set of 10 CP-Carillo PRO-H piston connecting rods includes WMC rod bolts, and is a direct replacement for the original connecting rods on the BMW S85 10-cylinder engine on E60 M5 and E63/E34 M6 (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010). Each CP connecting rod is cut from a forging of Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy made with chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. CP rods are also heat treated and shot peened to increase strength and durability. Made in USA. H11 tool steel bolts withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles. This low carbon steel is commonly used on highly stressed structural parts within the aerospace industry.
