Description

This set of 8 CP-Carillo PRO-H piston connecting rods includes WMC rod bolts and is a direct replacement for the original connecting rods on the later BMW N63 / N63TU and S63TU V8 engines. Each CP connecting rod is cut from a forging of Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy made with chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. CP rods are also heat treated and shot peened to increase strength and durability. Made in USA. H11 tool steel bolts withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles. This low carbon steel is commonly used on highly stressed structural parts within the aerospace industry.
