Description

This set of 6 CP-Carillo PRO-H piston connecting rods includes WMC connecting rod bolts. These rods are a lightweight and high-strength upgrade for the N54 twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine. Each CP connecting rod is cut from a forging of Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy made with chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. CP rods are also heat treated and shot peened to increase strength and durability. The WMC rod bolts are made from H11 tool steel, which can withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles and is commonly used in aerospace for highly stressed structural parts.
