Carrillo BMW S55 3/8 Pro-H WMC Bolt Connecting Rods (Set of 6)

The Carrillo connecting rods are made from a proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy, meeting VAR (vacuum arc re-melt ASTM standards). The heat treatment process is a mar-aged operation, resulting in an Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) of 195,000 psi and a yield of 182,000 psi. These connecting rods are manufactured from an oversized forging to ensure proper grainflow and removal of potential inclusions. The production process includes multiple magnaflux and Rockwell tests to validate dimensional integrity and heat treatment. Carrillo utilizes jointly designed fasteners, available in H-11 tool steel (220,000 UTS) and Multiphase™ (285,000 UTS), featuring a patented thread design and high dimensional integrity. Each lot of fasteners is destructively tested for ultimate tensile strength and fatigue. These precision-engineered, high-strength connecting rods are designed for flawless performance in racing and high-performance internal combustion engines.
