Carrillo rods are available in PRO H, Pro A, or Pro SA beams, representing the highest quality and engineered for maximum power. They use proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy, meeting VAR (vacuum arc re-melt ASTM standards). Heat treatment via mar-aged operation results in UTS of 195,000 and yield of 182,000, while maintaining low notch-sensitivity and ductility. Manufactured from an oversized forging, ensuring proper grain flow and surface removal of inclusions. CNC machines use probing for dimensional integrity. Each part is magnafluxed twice, Rockwell tested, and shotpeened. Fasteners are jointly designed by Carrillo, using H-11 tool steel (220,000 UTS) or Multiphase™ (285,000 UTS) with a patented thread design. Each lot is destructively tested for ultimate tensile strength and fatigue.
