Description

This connecting rod is a precision, high-strength, quality component manufactured from proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy to meet all VAR (vacuum arc re-melt ASTM standards). It undergoes a mar-aged heat treatment process, resulting in high ultimate tensile strength and yield while maintaining low notch-sensitivity and ductility. Each rod is magnafluxed at least twice, Rockwell tested, and shotpeened. It comes with jointly designed Carrillo fasteners (H-11 tool steel or Multiphase™) featuring a patented thread design.
