Carrillo Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun VQ37HR Pro-H 3/8 WMC Bolt Connecting Rods - Single

The Carrillo SCR6846-1 is a single Pro-H 3/8 WMC bolt connecting rod designed for Nissan/Infiniti VQ37HR engines. It is manufactured from a proprietary chrome, nickel, moly, vanadium alloy that meets VAR ASTM standards. Each rod undergoes a mar-aged heat treatment, resulting in high ultimate tensile strength and yield while maintaining low notch-sensitivity and ductility. All connecting rods are produced from oversized forgings to ensure proper grain flow and removal of potential inclusions. The manufacturing process includes multiple magnaflux inspections and Rockwell testing to validate heat treatment. The part is completed with a final shotpeen operation. Carrillo connecting rods utilize jointly designed fasteners made from H-11 tool steel or Multiphase TM, featuring a patented thread design and high dimensional integrity. Each lot is destructively tested for ultimate tensile strength and fatigue to ensure flawless performance in high-performance and racing applications.
