The K&N KN-204 oil filter is engineered to meet the demands of both racing applications and the average motorcycle, ATV, or UTV owner seeking superior oil filtration. It utilizes advanced synthetic filter media, designed to capture 99% of harmful contaminants while maintaining excellent oil flow rates, ensuring your engine receives clean oil without sacrificing performance. For convenience and ease of maintenance, the KN-204 features K&N's signature 'wrench-off' design, incorporating a 17mm nut at its base. This nut simplifies installation and removal, and is cross-drilled to facilitate the use of safety wire for added security in demanding environments. The filter's robust construction includes a heavy-duty canister and base plate to resist punctures, complemented by a double-rolled seal and a pre-lubricated gasket to guarantee a leak-free, secure seal. This high-performance oil filter is formulated for compatibility with a wide range of oil types, including conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic formulations. It also includes a pressure relief valve and an anti-drain back valve (where applicable) to protect against dry starts and ensure consistent oil supply. The K&N KN-204 serves as a direct replacement for a comprehensive list of OEM part numbers from brands such as Arctic Cat, Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Triumph, and Yamaha.
