The PRL Motorsports Matte Carbon Fiber Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Kit is engineered to enhance the intake system and turbocharger performance for your 2024+ Acura Integra Type-S. As a direct bolt-on upgrade, it effectively removes airflow restrictions encountered before the turbocharger, enabling it to operate with increased efficiency and potentially improving bottom-end power and spool. The design incorporates a cast aluminum inlet piece that transitions smoothly from a 64mm ID compressor inlet to an 80mm OD / 78mm ID outlet, which flows into the main matte carbon fiber pipe. This results in the largest inlet pipe available, providing over a 50% increase in airflow volume compared to the factory component. The kit includes the cast aluminum inlet, a matte carbon fiber pipe, high-temp silicone couplers, and stainless steel worm clamps. Installation is straightforward, with no ECU calibration required. However, it is explicitly stated that this kit is *only* compatible with the PRL High Volume Intake system. The product also carries a California emissions warning, stating it is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE. It is important to note that while the product is warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months, this warranty can be voided by racing, off-road use, abuse, improper installation, or alteration.
