However, the larger plenum means the throttle body is repositioned, necessitating the included IE 2.5L manifold air intake kit for proper plumbing to the mass airflow sensor. Professional installation is recommended due to the potential for serious engine damage from incorrect installation. This manifold is only compatible with electric power steering systems; it will not fit if your vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic power steering pump. To fully realize the performance gains, an IE Stage 2 ECU tune is required, which recalibrates the factory ECU for the manifold's increased volume and flow.
