Overview

The SPA Turbo IMVW01-01 is a cast aluminum intake manifold designed for VW 5-cylinder 2.5L 20V FSI (07K) engines. It features a larger internal volume, 100% larger than OEM, and a maximum working capacity of 10 bar (145 psi). This manifold is compatible with both hydraulic and electric steering systems and retains the stock fuel rail and throttle body bolt pattern.

The SPA Turbo IMVW01-01 is a comprehensive upgrade kit for VW 2.5L 5-cylinder 20V FSI (07K) engines, including a T3 top-mount turbo manifold, a cast aluminum valve cover, and a cast aluminum intake manifold. The turbo manifold is built from cast iron, featuring a standard T3 turbine housing flange and a V-Band 44/45mm wastegate flange with 41.5mm internal runner diameter. The cast aluminum intake manifold boasts a 6.2L internal volume and a high working capacity of 10 bar (145psi). It retains the stock fuel rail and throttle body bolt hole pattern, while eliminating the problematic stock breather system (PCV) with an integrated baffled outlet for a custom breather setup (-10AN). The valve cover, also cast aluminum with a durable black coat finish, is a direct replacement that addresses common maintenance headaches associated with the stock PCV system. Installation of this kit requires consideration for several factors. The intake manifold includes a fitting for the stock breather hose (-10AN), two 1/8" NPT block-off plugs, and an oil dipstick holder. It is compatible with the original MAP sensor (ref. 0261230095), though this is not included. It is important to note that this kit is not compatible with the original plastic engine cover. Professional installation is recommended, as improper installation, tuning, or use outside of intended specifications can void warranties and return eligibility.
