The IE Performance Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to eliminate the restrictive design of the factory plastic turbo inlet found on VW and Audi Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T TSI engines. The stock unit becomes a significant bottleneck when paired with performance modifications like cold air intakes, intercoolers, downpipes, or ECU tunes. This aftermarket upgrade features a constant high-flow inner diameter, improving efficiency from the intake to the turbo and helping you achieve the full potential of your IS38 or IS20 turbo and other power enhancements. Constructed from durable cast aluminum alloy and precision CNC-machined in-house, this inlet pipe ensures a perfect fitment and long-lasting performance. It utilizes a no-leak O-ring seal to the turbocharger and outflows the stock inlet by an impressive 110CFM. A dyno graph tested on a 2019 GTI with Stage 2 hardware and software demonstrates its performance benefits. This turbo inlet pipe requires an aftermarket cold air intake for installation, ideally the IE V2 MK7/8V MQB Intake Kit (PN IEINCI11). A universal silicone adapter is supplied to facilitate adaptation to most 3-inch cold air intakes, though direct fitment is not guaranteed with non-IE brand kits. It's important to note that this part does not fit with the DV+ Diverter Valve or Diverter Valve spacers.
