Cast Iron Cylinder Head

The World Products 053040-2 WINDSOR SR. cylinder head is a high-performance replacement for factory cast iron heads, engineered to deliver substantial power gains for Ford 302/351 engines. It boasts 200cc intake ports and 64cc exhaust ports, significantly larger than OEM Ford heads, combined with an efficient combustion chamber design and larger valves for improved performance. Constructed from high-density cast iron, this cylinder head features integral intake valve seats and hardened exhaust valve seats, along with integral cast iron valve guides. The spring seats are machined for 1.560″ springs, and it includes ERSON stainless steel valves with a 2.020″ intake diameter and 1.600″ exhaust diameter (11/32″ stem). The intake runner volume is 200cc with standard port location, and the exhaust ports are 64cc with a dual bolt pattern to accommodate custom headers. The combustion chamber volume is 64cc, and it uses a 14mm 5/8″ .460″ reach tapered spark plug style. The valve job includes multi-angle intake and radius exhaust, and it features a raised valve cover rail with a perimeter. The valve angle is stock 20°. This assembled cylinder head is designed for solid flat tappet or hydraulic roller lifters, with 1.437″ springs capable of handling up to .600″ lift. Note that guide plates and rocker arm studs are not included. While a 1.6 ratio rocker arm is standard, a 1.73 ratio may necessitate elongating the pushrod holes. The head is 50-State emissions legal, offering a cost-effective solution for serious power upgrades.
