The APR DPK0007 Exhaust Cast Race DP is engineered to unlock your turbo's potential by reducing exhaust restrictions found in the factory system. This upgrade replaces the restrictive stock downpipe, which features smaller 63mm piping, multiple bends, and high-cell-count catalysts, with a design focused on maximizing flow and reducing under-hood temperatures. The system utilizes APR's proprietary, low-turbulence, investment cast Race DP for optimal exhaust gas expulsion at maximum velocity. It is designed for FWD 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engines. A notable consideration for 1.8T engines is their smaller factory exhaust tubing, which necessitates the use of a 76mm to 60mm reducer (EXH0015) for proper fitment and performance. For optimal results and performance gains, APR recommends installing an APR Stage 2 ECU Upgrade, which is offered as a free upgrade from a previous stage with the purchase of this product.
