Cast Stainless Steel Downpipes

The CTS Turbo Nissan R35 GT-R Cast Stainless Steel Downpipes are engineered to enhance the performance of the R35 GT-R. Constructed from durable cast stainless steel with a 3.5-inch primary section, these downpipes are TIG-welded and back-purged using 304 stainless steel for optimal flow and longevity. They maintain the factory location for oxygen sensors and the mounting bracket, ensuring straightforward installation with direct OEM fitment. This kit includes lower downpipe gaskets and all necessary hardware. When paired with Stage 2 tuning software, significant power gains can be expected, with improvements felt throughout the power band and a more responsive throttle. The aggressive sound profile is achieved without introducing additional drone. It is important to note that a "Check Engine Light" will illuminate with stock software. Stage 2 tuning is required and highly recommended for proper operation and to avoid check engine lights. The downpipes neck down to 3 inches to accommodate factory and most aftermarket mid-pipes. Additionally, heat shield material is incorporated to retain heat and boost efficiency. These downpipes are sold for competition use and are not legal for highway or street vehicles.
