The Eagle Specialty Products 103503480 is a cast mild steel crankshaft engineered as a robust and dependable upgrade for Chevrolet Small Block engines. It offers a 3.480" stroke and is designed with a 2-piece rear main seal and internal balance, providing an excellent alternative to stock castings for performance, claimer, or stock replacement needs. Eagle employs stringent quality control measures, including magnafluxing, sonic testing, and x-ray inspection, to guarantee the reliability of each unit. Key specifications include a 2.100" rod journal diameter and a 5.700" and up rod length compatibility. This crankshaft utilizes standard snout size and has an internal engine balance. It is constructed from cast mild steel and is not nitrided. Importantly, this crankshaft does not include rod or main bearings, nor does it require narrow bearings. The radii are .092" to allow for the use of O.E. style bearings. This crankshaft is recommended for use in pump-gas, naturally-aspirated, non-competition road cars. A note states that the crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific rods and pistons, and that it is OE Spec Balance. Additionally, some parts are not legal for use in California or other states with similar laws, and this specific product contains nickel, which is known to the state of California to cause cancer.
