Overview

The Eagle Specialty Products crankshaft is a cast steel upgrade for your Big Block Chevy engine. It features a 4.250-inch stroke and is designed for pump-gas, naturally-aspirated, non-competition road cars.

This crankshaft is an excellent alternative to an OE crankshaft, offering strength improvements over cast iron. It includes .092-inch fillet radii for enhanced durability and is compatible with OE replacement bearings.

This component is recommended for use in pump-gas, naturally-aspirated, non-competition road cars, offering enhanced durability and performance over standard cast iron units. Constructed from cast steel for improved strength, this crankshaft features a 4.250-inch stroke and .092-inch fillet radii to enhance its structural integrity. It is designed to be externally balanced and uses a 2-piece seal. The journals are typically micropolished to 5 RA or better, and OE-style straight oiling passages are utilized. This crankshaft is compatible with OE replacement bearings. Eagle Specialty Products emphasizes quality control, utilizing multi-stage heat treating, sonic testing, magna-fluxing, and x-ray inspection to ensure a reliable product. The target bobweight is guaranteed within +/- 2% for more predictable balancing. It's important to note that the crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific connecting rods and pistons after installation.
