Caster Camber Plate

The Maximum Motorsports MM5CC-7 is a base caster camber plate engineered to facilitate proper front tire alignment on 2005-2014 Mustangs equipped with adjustable-height coil-over suspension systems. This innovative product from Maximum Motorsports, a pioneer in double-adjustable caster camber plates for Mustangs since 1993, provides the crucial ability to adjust both camber and caster settings, which are non-adjustable in stock form. These plates are particularly beneficial for lowered Mustangs, as they allow for the correction of excessive negative camber that can result from lowering, thereby preventing uneven tire wear and improving cornering grip. The camber adjustment can also be set to a more negative value for enhanced performance. Additionally, the MM5CC-7 offers a small range of adjustment for caster, which is otherwise fixed on the S197 Mustang chassis, allowing for fine-tuning to mitigate the effects of production tolerances. Constructed from laser-cut high-grade alloy steel for increased strength and reduced bending potential, the MM5CC-7 features a custom-made, MM-designed spherical bearing and a durable black powdercoat finish. It is designed for use with standard coil-over springs (typically 2.5" diameter) and a matching upper spring perch, and does not fit stock or direct replacement springs. The parts necessary to attach the strut to the caster camber plate and integrate with the coil-over spring are not included with the MM5CC-7; these must be purchased as separate strut installation kits, selected based on specific strut and coil-over configurations (e.g., HVT or MCS struts). Fitment includes 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs and 2007-2014 GT500 models equipped with an aftermarket adjustable-height front coil-over system, and requires strut shafts with a diameter of 14mm, 16mm, or 5/8". It is important to note that this product does NOT fit the 2007-2014 GT500 models and requires the upper spring isolator from the stock 2011-2014 upper strut mount if installing on those specific years. Additionally, special caster camber plates (such as the Mm5CC-5) are required for Eibach Multi-Pro R1 and R2 kits.
