Caster Camber Plates

The Maximum Motorsports MM5CC-6 Caster Camber Plates are engineered to provide precise alignment adjustments for your Mustang's front tires, offering independent control over both camber and caster settings. This is especially advantageous for lowered vehicles where factory alignment adjustments are insufficient. The S197 Mustang chassis, while designed with suitable positive caster for performance, can benefit from fine-tuning to correct production tolerances. The plates are constructed with a laser-cut, high-grade alloy steel main plate for increased strength and a custom-designed, U.S.A.-made spherical bearing. They feature a durable black powdercoat finish. These plates allow for a continuous range of 1.6 degrees of camber adjustment, independent of caster adjustments, and a 0.7-degree range of caster adjustment. This capability is crucial for correcting excessive negative camber that results from lowering a Mustang, thereby preventing uneven tire wear and improving handling. For street-driven Mustangs, this allows for improved tire wear, while for performance driving, the negative camber can be increased to enhance cornering grip. Installation requires the upper spring isolator from the stock 2011-2014 upper strut mount. It is important to note that these plates do NOT fit the 2007-2014 GT500 models. Additionally, while these plates allow the fitment of 2005-2010 struts (OE and aftermarket) to a 2011+ Mustang, not all aftermarket springs designed for the 2005-2010 Mustang are compatible with the 2011+ chassis; careful application year verification is necessary when selecting springs.
