The Clevite 224-3374X piston crown is engineered for CAT 3406E piston assemblies where the crown is serviced separately from the skirt. It features OE combustion-bowl geometry for 137 mm (5.400") bores and an 18.0:1 compression setup, helping maintain proper heat control, sealing, and power balance under high-load duty cycles.

This heavy-duty piston crown-only replacement is designed for Caterpillar 3406E diesel platforms. It is ideal for targeted repairs during in-frame or full overhauls, restoring combustion efficiency without requiring a full piston assembly.
