The Integrated Engineering IEEXCI7 catback exhaust system is engineered to enhance the sound and aesthetic of your VW MK7 Golf R or Audi 8V S3. Featuring a proprietary DroneTrap technology, this system mathematically tunes resonators to selectively cancel out annoying drone frequencies, leaving a deep, enriched exhaust note that enthusiasts desire. The system allows for adjustable quad 4" slash-cut exhaust tips with a brushed finish, enabling customization to your preferred look. Built for longevity and performance, the IEEXCI7 is constructed from durable, mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance. Hand TIG-welded joints ensure lasting strength, while a stamped multi-wall muffler prevents warping. Reinforced hangers keep the system securely mounted, and bridged piping adds strength and reduces stress. Wide-width stretch clamps ensure a tight, leak-free connection, inspired by high-end OE designs. Seamless functionality is integrated via factory drive select controls, allowing you to switch between Comfort mode for a civilized tone and Sport/Dynamic mode to unleash a boosted roar. In Comfort mode, exhaust valves remain closed, routing sound through the muffler for a sporty yet subdued tone. In Sport/Dynamic mode, the valves open, bypassing the muffler through twin 2.5" pipes for a loud, performance rumble. Basic tools are sufficient, though an autolift is recommended. The system includes hardware for a direct bolt-on installation to stock or iE downpipes. This catback exhaust system is compatible with the Audi S3 (8V) 2015-2020 2.0T and the VW Golf R (MK7/MK7.5) 2015-2020 2.0T.
