Cat-Back Exhaust System

The Rev9 CB-012 catback exhaust system is engineered for the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK6 models equipped with the 2.0T TFSI turbocharged engine, specifically for model years 2009 through 2014. This system is constructed from durable stainless steel, featuring 2.5-inch mandrel-bent piping for optimal exhaust flow and dual 3.5-inch polished tips. Customers can choose between two configurations: a muffler delete version (CB-012A) that includes a single resonator for a significantly louder and more aggressive tone, or the CB-012 version which incorporates two sport muffler canisters. This latter option provides a deeper, more refined exhaust note while still improving flow over the factory system. Both configurations are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock catback exhaust, simplifying installation. It is crucial to note the specific fitment requirements for this exhaust. It is designed exclusively for the GTI 2.0T TFSI turbocharged engine. This exhaust system does NOT fit the base Golf model, particularly those equipped with the 2.5L naturally aspirated engine. The system does not alter, replace, or modify any emissions equipment and is considered a catback exhaust. Rev9 exhaust systems are designed to minimize bends and restrictions, aiming to deliver the most possible power and the best sound by ensuring the smoothest exhaust flow.
