The Milltek Sport SSXVW052 is a performance-oriented, non-resonated cat-back exhaust system engineered specifically for the Volkswagen Mk4 Golf models equipped with the 1.8T, 12v VR6, or 24v VR6 (2002+) engines. Constructed from durable 304L "Aircraft" grade stainless steel, the exhaust features a 2.50" (63.50mm) pipe diameter. This larger diameter promotes better exhaust flow, which can potentially lead to increases in horsepower and torque. The non-resonated design ensures a sportier and more pronounced exhaust note compared to resonated systems. Installation is intended to be straightforward, as it is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory components. However, it is important to note that this system must be used with a Golf valence that features a dual tip cutout. Tip style options are available to suit personal preferences.
