The Fast Intentions cat-back exhaust system is engineered to maximize performance for the 2016 Infiniti Q50 Sedan 3.0L VR30 Twin Turbo V6 engine. This system refines the factory exhaust note, delivering a deeper, smoother, and louder sound profile that comes alive at wide-open throttle. Constructed from 2.50" mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel tubing, it minimizes interior noise resonance. The system includes 5" x 9" oval mufflers (available in touring or sport variants) and 4.5" dual wall polished stainless steel exhaust tips. Optional prismatic tips are also available. Installation is straightforward as it's designed as a direct OEM replacement, requiring no cutting or welding. The front flanges are 3/8" thick mild steel with a bright nickel-plated finish, and all connection points are precision TIG welded and port-n-polished for optimal flow. Slip-fit connections use Torca Accuseal clamps for secure and serviceable assembly. This cat-back exhaust system is specifically designed for the 2016 Infiniti Q50 Sedan 3.0L VR30, compatible with both 2WD and AWD models. It is explicitly not compatible with the 2014-2015 Infiniti Q50 Sedan. The system comes complete with all necessary gaskets, clamps, and hardware, and is hand-built in the USA with a limited 3-year warranty on welds, craftsmanship, mufflers, and tips. It is claimed to provide an increase of 16 horsepower and 30-foot pounds of torque, along with a reduction in Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) by freeing up back pressure.
