The J2 Engineering cat-back exhaust system is a performance exhaust upgrade designed to improve engine airflow and throttle response. By utilizing larger, mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel piping and high-flow mufflers, the system allows the engine to breathe more freely compared to stock components. Each kit is engineered to provide an aggressive, throaty exhaust note while maintaining compatibility with 50-state emissions standards as it replaces everything after the catalytic converter. The system features 2.25-inch piping and 4.00-inch slanted muffler tips, which include removable silencers to adjust noise levels. Constructed with TIG-welded CNC-machined flanges, it is built for durability and resistance against corrosion and pressure. All necessary gaskets and mounting hardware are included for a direct-fit installation. This exhaust system is strictly compatible with 2004-2008 Nissan Maxima A34 models equipped with the 3.5L VQ35DE V6 engine. It will not fit models with any other engine configuration.
