The Rev9 CB-012A is a mufflerless catback exhaust system engineered for the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK6 equipped with the 2.0T TFSI turbocharged engine, specifically for model years 2009 through 2014. This system replaces the factory catback exhaust with 2.5-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel piping and features a single resonator in place of mufflers, delivering a significantly louder and more aggressive exhaust note. The exhaust is finished with a 3.5-inch tip. It is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory system, utilizing TIG welded joints for performance and longevity. The CB-012A variant is distinct from the CB-012, which includes two sport muffler canisters for a deeper, more refined sound. This catback exhaust does not alter or replace any emissions equipment. Fitment is specific to the GTI 2.0T TFSI turbocharged engine; it does not fit the base Golf models with the 2.5L naturally aspirated engine.
