Description

At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the patented Capristo valves remain closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. However, when at full throttle, these valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the highly tuned EVO/STO engine for an aggressive acceleration sound. The exhaust is manufactured using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at Capristo's facility in Germany, then hand-polished to a mirror finish. It also includes a thermal blanket to maximize performance and protect OEM rear camera components. The OEM exhaust weighs 19.9 kg, while the Capristo system is significantly lighter at 14.2 kg, representing a 30% reduction in weight. The opening and closing of the Capristo valves are controlled by the engine control unit, functioning identically to the original exhaust design, with OEM vacuum tubes fitting directly into the valve system.
