Cat4ward Stainless Steel Shorty Headers

The JBA Cat4ward shorty headers are engineered to directly replace the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds on 1996-2000 GM trucks and SUVs with 5.0L and 5.7L engines (without air injection). Constructed from stainless steel with 1-1/2" primary tubes and a thick 3/8" flange, these headers are designed to improve exhaust scavenging and reduce engine restriction. The patented Firecone® collector technology allows these shorty headers to produce horsepower and torque comparable to longer tube headers up to 5500 RPM, while also offering excellent clearance for both lowered and lifted vehicles. Installation is straightforward, requiring only simple hand tools and bolting directly to the existing stock Y-Pipe or crossover pipe, eliminating the need for cutting or welding. All necessary hardware, gaskets, and emissions fittings are included, with an estimated installation time of 3 to 6 hours depending on the specific application. These headers are 50-State CARB approved and come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
