Category 4 Allison 950HP Rebuild Kit

The SunCoast Category 4 Allison 950HP Rebuild Kit is engineered for 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the LB7/LLY Duramax Diesel engine. This kit aims to provide the same enhanced performance and reliability as SunCoast's in-house transmission builds, suitable for daily driving, towing, street, strip, and sled pulling applications with significant truck modifications. Key components include custom Alto carbonite and Raybestos SCZ frictions, redesigned apply pistons with improved heat resistance, and custom billet plates for enhanced durability and fluid lubrication. The kit also incorporates an exclusive smart trim/clutch control valve and modifications to the C2 clutch piston. It includes a variety of essential parts such as custom clutches & steel, custom billet plates, a custom overhaul kit, valvebody calibration kit, gaskets, filters, and a new internal wiring harness. Specific high-strength components are featured to address common failure points in the Allison transmission. This includes a billet C2 clutch hub made from 4140 heat-treated steel for increased strength, a P2 planet manufactured from induction-hardened 4140 billet steel, and a billet input shaft made from 9310 Vacumelt steel for superior torsional fatigue strength. The kit also includes a billet SFI certified flexplate that replaces the weaker factory unit, an intermediate shaft, and an output shaft. The included SunCoast Triple Disc Billet Converter offers custom in-house pump and turbine modifications, proprietary converter clutches with trapezoid teeth, and a forged billet cover for strength, backed by a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty. The kit is designed to handle up to 950 HP.
